It is important that you develop a schedule for creating interesting weekly articles for your audience. Creating and providing quality content will entice your audience to follow your Facebook updates. So posting regularly to Facebook is a must if you are to succeed in building a loyal following.
Having said the above, a common mistake is to create a business page, make several posts the first few days and then stop posting for several months! Not keeping your Facebook page updated demonstrate a lack of caring to your audience, so it is very important that you set time aside for this important weekly task. Later in this series, we will show you how you can minimise the time required to accomplish this task.
You should consider offering something exclusive and free to people for “liking” your page. This could be a free report or even a discount on your products or service.
By encouraging your followers to join the conversation on your Facebook page you will be increasing the engagement and interactivity on the page. This will not only increase the likelihood of attracting more visitors to your page and hence bring more exposure to your brand, products or services, but Facebook will reward you by showing your updates in the newsfeed of more of your followers. So by engaging your current followers, this will help to grow your audience as their conversation will generate interest from their friends.
